MaMa Mia

I thought the one movie that I wanted to see was Mama Mia! I knew it was a musical about the music of the band ABBA, but I wanted to see it because of something else. I was given new information about the movie that no one else knew. What was that you ask? My sister's-in-law's cousin was in the movie. She made an audition in England with her husband and because she was born in Italy and looked genuinely Mediterranean she was asked to be in the movie. After a long process, of course. It was really cool to see her. I have never met her but my brother and sister-in-law met up in England when with they went on vacation. For them it was more amazing than for me. But my family enjoyed having a "brush with fame". The movie was very enjoyable with surprising vocals by Meryl Streep and Pierce Bronsan. I always loved the music of ABBA and thought the plot of the movie was well written. Who would have guessed that a popular music band of the past would not only make a great hit on Broadway but also a Hollywood movie.
